Initially I had high hopes for Surya. But, as I watch his movies, despite his amazing performance in all of them , Im loosing interest on Surya Sivakumar.Kakka Kakka was good. But is Surya trying to perform the same dynamics in all his movies. I felt Sanjay Ramaswamy had the same shadow of Anbuchhelvan IPS. Probably thats what the director might have wanted, but Surya could have done better.

Different thought about Surya!
velu naicker was groomed in a different era by true doyens of tamil cinema.
these guys are unfortunate in that aspect.
Surya try the same act, in Mayavi, what he did in Pithamagan. it is flop. surya should change thte act in every movie.

In Ghajini, from the time Surya's background starts "enn peru sanjay... Sanjay Ramaswamy.." it gets very similar to KK.. as you said..
Didnt say "enn peru Anbuchelvan, Anbuchelvan IPS"? Perazhagan was a bit different from his cameo in Pithamagan.
I still have hopes on Surya.

It was the other way round for me. Initially, Surya seemed like yet another Star-Son. It is only recently that his talents are surfacing(all credit to Bala?).
