Me and my uncle were having a good discussion about the TN Politics. The nature of TN Politics, is that it makes us worry about the future of India. Thats when my uncle suggested a few methods that practically can be changed, and how it can make a difference.
What if the Police Departments in the State start reporting Centrally.. or even better, What if they belong to the Defense Ministry ? Will that do any good to the Country ?
Think about it.
Why the Defense Ministry - because People inside India cause more damage than the People outside the Border line. So the Defence Ministry should seriously think about havings its men on the streets controlling violence and misbehaviour in any form. This would help in great levels. The Militia Cops wont have the fear of getting transferred by the thought of the Local Dadas.. it would not be that easy.
They may not be influenced by the political situations. They will be young and Energetic. Thats something we need badly. The Militia Cops will bring out the value of punishment. The existing equation has Money/Bribe/Penalty on the other side of Crime. They can replace it with Punishment.
We all agree that politicians may not be interested in getting this implemented. This is of national importance where each citizen of the country is benefitted by the tax revenue. So elites like our president can do this. Or if any of you get a chance to become a President of the country, think of this important change in the constitution.

Actually a good iDEA..If implemented also may give good results..I had a chance to visit IIT Chennai..It is efficiently taken care by CPRF and they are doing well. This method can be implement initially as a trial in some part of Chennai..And based on results it can be extend..

Won't it require the police force to learn additional languages?
I agree the Abdul kalam is an intelligent person, but beiing a president he is only a RUBBER STAMP. I repeat, ONLY a rubber stamp. We have had very good presidents in the past, but there is very little they can do. We need some Dare Devil like T.N Shesan to take over the country like Paki President and implement some basic standards and put the dirtly politics to a stop. I am very young, but I may not be alive to see that day...
