Adhellam vidunga, recently a kid who had come down from the U.S couldn't recognize Rajini and he had to put on his "Chandramukhi" make-up and only then could the kid recognize him. Ulaganayagan Padmashree Dr.Kamal Haasan applies make-up to get into the character and look "different", NOT to look "normal"! Hayyo, hayyo!
"Do you getr any fwds with Kamal's VV like this" Amaam boss, # of forwards (and thereby popularity) determines everything for you. "Vadu mangai" & "Thair Saadham" song sells more than, say, "Yaar yaar sivam". What the hell does that prove? Hayyo, hayyo!!!
Bala, Kalakki potteengo !! :) But I agree with Anti here.. Thats what i wrote sometime back, Rajini does take care and his make up for this movie is note-worthy.

hahahahaha... I only have to laugh for all these comments. Guys, Kamal and Rajni are 2 different legends in their own field. I'm not a big fan of any particular actor/actress. I'm a fan of effort. I love antything from where lot of efforts come ffrom. Kamals, Anbe Sivam and Hey Ram are exceptional. Similarly, Rajni's Padayappa, Baba are also exceptional. Do people make up to look normal or different isnot important. Are they making up to give something different to us is what matters. In that respect, both are awesome.

Yeah, it will be a legend because for the first time in movie history, Rs. 25Cr was spent on make-up alone, just to make the hero look "normal"!!!!
