But the now CM, Mr. MK is in full swing to put it back where it was.

Oxymoron? I don't think so. One didn't believe in chastity for women, and the other believes in it at every relationship.
I dont think reinstalling the Kannagi statue will do any improvements in TN. But it was the same thing, when KK changed the name of film city from JJ to MGR and express transport from JJ to Rajivgandhi.
It doesnt meant that I am supporting the reinstallation.
