Colour - Like No Other

This is the tag-line for Sony products that show colors. Such as Televisions and Cameras. Bravia is the new line of television products from Sony. And they made an Ad for it. It was popularly known as Bravia balls. I remember mentioning it on Avyukta as well.

If you havent seen Bravia - Bouncy Balls, quick... quick... Go here and watch it right away. You cant miss these things in life.

But then, thats not what I wanted to talk about. After Bravia Balls, these guys from Sony started working on another Ad that was planned to splash color paints on a building, using some 1000 detonators and many more Paint buckets. That Ad was getting released by 17th October, and the world awaited the release.

Believe it ? The world awaited the release of just an Advertisement.

I was one of them, and quickly downloaded and watched the Ad. Whaaaw ! See if you are able to appreciate it. Watch the Hi-res video here.

And namma oor advertisements ? "Sakthi masala pudhu ragam !! Pudhu suvai !"..

Vellaththanaya Malar Neettam Maandhartham
Ullaththanaya Dhuyarvu !

Understand ?

thala,
I get ur point...but
Ad is for selling stuff, and U have to make it local...So Sakthi Masala song will have an appeal here and so their product sells. If sakthi masala guys plan for such an ad, their whole turn over will be washed out ....

I agree with venkatrangan. Comparison is baseless. Moreover, my friend who is into ads remarked that at times "stupid-seeming" ads reach the mass better. Its another tatic. People talk, criticise, laugh about it and therefore make the ad and inturn the product popular. Remember "ujalakku maaritiyaa", "Gopal palpodi" etc.?
