Arcot Road in 17th Century

Cenetoph Road of 17th Century

He he.. the title was just to woo your attention. Now that I have it, this is the road towards Thirukkannapuram - a famous shrine of Sowriraja Perumal. Thirukkannapuram is a few KMs away from Mayiladuthurai. Someone has the sthalapuranam of this temple, let me know.

As for the road, I immediately liked the scene that unfolded, when the car took the turn into this road. What a pleasant experience to drive on this road !

Wish Chennai roads were as peaceful as this.
